Tax weekend for us here in the Pup household.
I'll leave you with a poem that my husband likes.
"An orange on the table, your dress on the rug, and you in my bed, sweet present of the present, cool of night, warmth of my life"
Jacques Prevert
Have a happy weekend! See you on Monday

Thanks for the poem, the gorgeous oranges. It also reminded me: I can do what I want on my own in perpetual-construction blog & slap "Week's End" on the post. And.Be.Done.With.It.
Grazie, Mme. le Pup
Schoenes Wochenende!
I like the poem too. Also the photo. They look better than oranges to me.
synchronicity -- I like that word.
Saw you at Willow's blog.
How fortunate you are.
Janette, my husband likes the poem, but I don't think he's romanticizing me.
Oh yes! Tax time...maybe this weekend, we'll see. Husband does them for mom too.
I like the poem. I like oranges. Wish I had one right now.

pup, i've been enjoying your blog alot! this favorite poem of your husband's is delightfully sensual and anticipatory. i like that!
:)
"cool of night, warmth of my life" thats lovely
have a great weekend
What a romantically cool poem...BTW, in China, it's considered good feng shui to keep a bowl of oranges on the table...they represent gold coins=wealth...
that is some sexy stuff. i like it!
Hazel - I've got a fun award for you...let's see what you can bring to the table!

I liked the orange poem and I love the picture because clementine oranges are my favorite oranges. We buy them all the time at Costco and my youngest granddaughter comes here and eats them like crazy. She has now learned how to peel them on her own and so she is a happy camper because she does not have to wait for me to peel them for her anymore.
God bless.
oh i love that poem! fantastic! hope you had a lovely weekend, even if it did involve taxes...
and even in English Prévert sounds nice !
hope you had a nice week end...
