"An Orange on the Table"

Tax weekend for us here in the Pup household.

I'll leave you with a poem that my husband likes.

"An orange on the table, your dress on the rug, and you in my bed, sweet present of the present, cool of night, warmth of my life"

Jacques Prevert

Have a happy weekend! See you on Monday

Hazel

Thanks for the poem, the gorgeous oranges. It also reminded me: I can do what I want on my own in perpetual-construction blog & slap "Week's End" on the post. And.Be.Done.With.It.

Grazie, Mme. le Pup

I like the poem too. Also the photo. They look better than oranges to me.

synchronicity -- I like that word.

Saw you at Willow's blog.

Janette, my husband likes the poem, but I don't think he's romanticizing me.

Oh yes! Tax time...maybe this weekend, we'll see. Husband does them for mom too.

I like the poem. I like oranges. Wish I had one right now.

What a romantically cool poem...BTW, in China, it's considered good feng shui to keep a bowl of oranges on the table...they represent gold coins=wealth...

I liked the orange poem and I love the picture because clementine oranges are my favorite oranges. We buy them all the time at Costco and my youngest granddaughter comes here and eats them like crazy. She has now learned how to peel them on her own and so she is a happy camper because she does not have to wait for me to peel them for her anymore.

God bless.
