ooohhh you cannot do that - show a super image then not say where it is, when Monet lived there, whether visitors are welcome or not. I know Monet was a grand old age (86) when he died in the 1920s so I am guessing from the photo that it was WW1 ish?
I've been there too and made a snapshot of my wife on the Japanese bridge. I've still not decided whether the green wooden rowboat on the shore was a prop (the design was somewhat timeless) or was transport for workers maintaining the lake. I like your blog, newly discovered here.
