Snowy House for a Snowy Day

Wet snow or rain changing to a few rain showers near noon. Wind east 30 km/h gusting to 50 becoming southwest 30 gusting to 60 early this afternoon. High plus 4.

And I have to go out in this?

Here's a painting that I completed yesterday.

your painting tugs at my heart. What is it? the house, the portrayal of snow on the trees, the colors, the imagination in the depiction...?
Here it is super cold too, but the sun is out. This kind of cold is striking the top of the orange tree outside my front door, but it has survived cold before so I don't worry. we will go to Ak over the holidays. Lily hopes to see SNOW !

I love paintings of snow and I particularly love your one. I love dreaming about being in snow too. Suggest you don’t go out but have a nap and dream about the snow, many a Rupert Bear adventure has been had in the snow!

Love the painting, Hazel! The colours and the style remind me so much of the work of Lawren Harris. You should have an exhibit at a gallery.

Kat, you got it in one. I don't like his icebergs but I love his houses.

Actually I was thinking a cross between Harris and the shapliness of Carr.
