The second house - just my style - would be easily affordable to any Toronto homeowner with money to spare. The $127,000 Euros they want for this place converts to just under $200,000 Canadian. I do love the second house, as well...as in, it's within one's grasp as a possibility. Une question, though. As I don't see a balcony, where will you play Roxane to G-Pup's Cyrano? (As a little entertainment for the neighbors.)

I am exactly the same and often whittle away a few spare hours trawling through stunningly picturesque houses in La Belle France as we intend to downsize and move in a year or two.
Quite therapeutic and the second is quite a cracker......

Both beautiful -- although I would probably prefer the cozier one to that properly fairy tale palace. I'm always inspecting the For Sale windows in every town we visit, but I've never thought about taking this idle curiousity online!
You do that too?! I'll add that link to my real-estate list. I quite often waste time looking and dreaming. These places are so 'feel-good'; imagine stepping out your front door and wandering down that cobbled path past the flower baskets...
