Red Letter Day

I won this great vest (or Gilet as the French call it) from Rochelle Greayer at Studio G. Rochelle is the proprietor of Greayer Design Associates, a brilliant landscape design company based in Harvard, Massachusetts.

All I had to do was tell her what my favourite flower was and why and look at what I won.

The vest is originally from Le Prince Jardinier the store I wrote about on February 8th. The "Prince" owns Deyrolle a wonderfully quirky cabinet of curiousities in Paris.

Once it softens up a bit I think it will become a favourite. Thanks Rochelle!

Congratulations! You look great. What is your favorite flower & why? Or is it somewhere on your site? Love the blue room above, too. And yes, congratulations to Ming on her longevity. She looks like a very classy lady fish to me.

Wow, are you ever lucky! What material is it? Nimbo

I like Freesia best GG. It has a peppery scent that makes my toes curl.

I posted the room because Decor8 wanted to know if we lived with blue and I'm too dumb to download a picture so that's why it's here. I can only live in hope that she will visit me.

We'll never know with Ming. I think they all look the same unless they're pregenant.

Nimbo, if that IS your real name...

It's a VERY heavy canvas. It's supposed to be a gardening Gilet.

All the pockets (5 or 6) are on the inside. And it has a very nice cotton lining.
