That is too dear. I love the look on the little girl's face. The grandmother's stance kind of reveals her affection for her granddaughter.

I just left a comment on another blog about International Women's Day. I'm feeling a little...don't know what the word is...sad I guess, that I've never even heard of this holiday in the U.S. I'm maybe out of the loop, but on the other hand, what does that say about our country? I'm not that out of touch. It's never in the news, florists don't advertise it...kind of a bummer.

On a lighter note thanks for that great photograph. I love it.

I am curious about that, too. International Women's Day - I have to find out about that! Nonetheless, a beautiful picture of grandmother and granddaughter - I wonder what is in their baskets!

Hi Hazel, thanks for visiting my blog. I'm glad you did because now I discovered yours. The Van Gogh's Cat post is very interesting, I'll need investigate Smudja a little more. And I'll be checking your archives in search of Victor's mannequin...

To be the recipient of a look of wonder and acceptance such as that given by this little child ... is a blessing that bespeaks the wonderful Person that is that Lady. For a child is always the perfect barometer of character and love. And it is obvious that the Grandmother is adored by the Grandchild. How perfect!

Lovingly ...
