Poppy



While walking the dog, I found these poppies in a neighbour's garden. I was delighted at how these poppies were complemented by the maroon leaves of the smokebush and I had to return home for a camera.

    Oh, I've seen these in a neighbors yard and can only stand there agog--what colors and complimentary ones at that.

    The gorgeous pink and black casts a spell. I'm lucky enough to have a smokebush... and it planted itself in my front garden. Was very pleased to see it had arrived. :)
