What "Type" are You - A Quizz

I'm definitely a little heavy on the video side of things this month but here is another brought to my attention yesterday by Jessica Jones of How about Orange, a blog brimming with inspiration and DIY tutoirals.

The graphic design firm Pentagram has hired a Freud-like psychiatrist to determine what typeface most suits your personality. He'll ask you some questions, jot down some notes and after revealing your "type" will give a brief history on the font you are diagnosed with. I was surprised to find that I'm apparently lettre ornée, as illustrated above.

Have a go right here. As Woody Allen would say, "It's the most fun you can have without laughing" Do I have that wrong? The password is "character".

Sounded like fun. Went to the site, double clicked the link. Had to listen twice to the intro & watch the headless instructor before I understood what he wanted. Then, I didn't want to really create yet ANOTHER log in name & p/w so made them up and of course nothing happened except headless guy twisted around in his desk chair. Got tired of that & left the site and came back here to leave my comment. If there's a message, joke or trick, I missed it.

Moi--Archer Hairline.

Almost upended the laptop sitting on bed. Because the man reminded me of Peter Sellers.

This was fun.

ciao

Susan

PS: GG will take it next.

Hmm, California Girl.

Type your name (first and last) on the black space on the left where you are prompted to.

type in the password "Character" without the quotes.

Then he will ask you 4 questions.

The questions will appear in fairly large print on the left. Click on the one which most suits. I hope that works.

Hazel: thanks. I OBVIOUSLY missed your last sentence about the p/w. doh!

Took it, enjoyed it and I am Marina Script which I don't disagree w/.

headless guy does remind one of Peter Sellers.

headless guy needs a manicure.

That was fun!

Yes, it took a sec for me to remember that you (Hazel-Pup) had been so considerate as to create a password log-in & tell us. As soon as I typed in my name & 'character' - it was fine.

Clever Pup People: Hazel is always so very clear (unlike moi) & tells you just what you need to know. (I'm not criticizing California Girl, I sat watching the headless "Peter Sellers" twist in his seat, too...I just want my comment to draw attention so you can access the quiz quickly & enjoy.

ciao-meow again...

I'm Plastica, which I don't like at all, but I love the way this was created, very stylish! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I think Helvetica is my favourite of all time.

hmmmm, headless guy who's like Peter Sellers who has nasty bitten nails ?....well, maybe I'll just think about the horses which will be my next topic, and Hazel what do you think about the circus rider's hair style, wouldn't it be more modern than Samuel Meekers? Yes or no. :-) (left you a comment, bei mir!)

@Einbildungskraft - When presented with such possibility, it is certainly hard to ignore such an opportunity, isn't it? What does Plastica look like? I'm dull old "courier", but in a way, it fits.
